Energy Strategy – Path to Net Zero Energy

The NI Energy Strategy has is now available. As expected a 70% renewable electricity target is included along with proposals to extend the CfD to NI and to review the Utility Regulator’s mandate.  An action plan is expected to follow early in the New Year which we expect will include more detail on concrete proposals.

A lot of effort has been put in by Farm Energy NI and our partners RenewableNI to get us to this point so we would like to take this opportunity to thank all those who have contributed to the development of the Energy Strategy.
